Cool Canmore Concerts this May and June!

Another winter has come and gone in Canmore. Now, it’s time for a picturesque summer in the shade of the beautiful Canadian Rockies, complete with hikes, bike rides and afternoons on patios. Yes, as the weather warms up, visitors to Canmore will have countless choices for fun in the sun. 

Of course, visitors to our beautiful mountain town will also need a way to spend their evenings. There’s perhaps no better choice in that regard than a night of live music—and easy thing to find in our charming corner of Canada.

Here are a few cool concerts coming up in Canmore, all of which will make the perfect closing sequence to a day out in the sun.

Matt Blais | May 6

On May 6th, the talented Matt Blais will take the stage at the Rose & Crown, which you’ll find just 20 minutes drive from our hotel in beautiful Banff. Best of all, there’s no cover charge for this show, so you can enjoy the blues/rock sound of Mr. Blais entirely free of charge!

Hard Drive | May 16

The talented musicians of Hard Drive have been rocking bars and parties all over Southern Alberta for a long time. Soon, they’ll be taking the stage at the Drake Inn, which you’ll find just 20 minutes’ walk, or 5 minutes’ drive from our cozy Canmore hotel. Enjoy the show!

Lindsey White | June 7

On June 7, Alberta’s own Lindsey White will take the stage at the Elk and Oarsman, just 20 minutes’ from our hotel. Catch her awesome sound, and the catchy tunes from her album Renegade at 10:00pm!

For music lovers, there’s never a bad time to visit Canmore. The region around our town is always alive with excellent concerts in charming, intimate venues.
