Three Sisters Mountain Range |
One of the most famous in the Canadian Rockies, the Three Sisters are probably recognized
by more people driving along the Trans-Canada Highway than any of the other mountains
in Alberta. These mountains are the inspiration for many artists and can be seen
in much of the local artwork and photography in the area. The famous mountain peaks
were individually named in 1883 as Big Sister, Middle Sister and Little Sister.
